Oh god...

A short story on my journey in VEX Robotics as an unbeatable girl.

Her. The nice one. She's the nice one. The rose between two thorns. Nah I'm kidding, she's just one out of three best friends, the one that gets the banter but doesn't participate. she's the empathetic one, the one who picks up the pieces. She's a little bit slow on word play, a little bit clumsy, not as funny as the other two, But she's the one he notices. Him. The hot guy. No one really knows why he's not that popular, he has all the right friends and all the right looks. No one really knows that much about him, his best friend knows more than everyone else and still doesn't know what he's thinking. No one tries to get to know him, they use him for photos then walk off. He thought thats what friendship was until he hung out with them, until he met her. Blake Childs doesn't know what he needs, he tries to escape through sport - fixating on his training and pushing himself a little too far while inly coming home to protect his two little brothers from his fathers violence. He doesn't know what he's been looking for - what he needs - but his best friend does - his best friend knows he needs Kaylee Eastman. Kallee Eastman is a ball of empathy, she can't help but to try and understand everyone she meets. In every book she reads she argues with her friends over who the villain is - she sees both sides of almost every story. Every story except his... yet. Essays I've written for high school (english-related), various types of subject matter! Each "chapter" is a different essay.

This is a story about myself, my experience in life, I called it "red doc martens" because my favourite boots are my red doc martens which are now 4 years old and are worn to death because I'm so unco. This is no sappy love story, this is my life! So deal. If you don't like what I talk about, touch luck! Don't read my story then. This story will be written in once a week for a year, I'll post every Saturday night. (53 chapters, one for the context and the other 52 for the 52 weeks in a year).
