So when she moved to California to attend Santa Barbara University she didnt think anything of the transition, she thought that everything was going to be the same, that was until one night at a simple party with one guy, changed everything for her. Justin is usually all over the map. With a troubled past and an outraged dad, he moved to Santa Barbara to get away. He met a girl named Bella and thought that was the end of it. That was until his friend Trevor brought this new girl around and changed things for him. She's all he ever thinks about and the only girl he seems to ever want anymore, and he could have any girl he asked for. Maria realizes that maybe Justin isn't the one for her, but that doesnt stop her from agreeing to his bet to show that she's more fun than he thinks. Little does she know that Justin has plans of his own on this trip, and maybe just maybe, he'll finally admit the real reason why he wanted her on this trip in the first place. But of course everything can't happen perfectly, something just has to get in their way...

AVA POV. "Bye Mel," I whisper to my best friend on my doorstep, "I'll talk to you later okay?", she grips me tighter before releasing me. "Yep, it will all be fine. Goodby-" She manages out before being interrupted by a high pitched beep of a truck. Why do they even call those noises a beep? More like a deathly high squeal that scared Mel and I out of our skins. I turn around suddenly and find myself looking at a moving truck next door and an oddly familiar looking boy watching Mel and I. I couldn't put my finger on who it was, but whoever it was looked like a god. The boy looked around 19/20, the same age as me. He's wearing a long sleeve grey shirt, denim bermuda shorts, bright yellow Nikes, dark sunglasses and a hot headscarf. Not to mention he is covered in tattoos making him look extremely tanned and hot. I snapped out of my gaze when we met eyes resulting in him smirking. He must have seen me checking him out. Damn it. I turn around and wave to Mel walking to her black VW convertible beetle, I flash a smile at the boy still staring at me and walk inside out of the 35C (95F) heat.
