He soon appears at the closest high school (her high school) and her friend Cindy does the best she can to help her get closer to him although she isn't very good at it. At the same time Riley begins to have a crush on Cindy even though he kind of hides it. But along the way everyone gets in different situations more in the comedy section. Everything fell apart after Congress passed the infamous bill to "help the economy". Everyone living paycheck-to-paycheck and on the streets already knew this was just code for finally killing off the poor. The upper, middle, and lower classes were split into factions. The upper and middle get to live comfortably, while the lower-class is deemed "Surplus". They work menial labor jobs for little in return. The system pits them against one another-eat or be eaten. Most can only dream of one day rising above their statuses and living normal lives. Jazmine Dubois, AKA: "Cherry Bomb" is a member of the infamous "Dark Angel" gang and is not to be messed with. Huey Freeman has to learn this the hard way when the two cross paths one day after he breaks into a Dark Angel storehouse.
