Then his other arm locked around my upper body, strong enough that escape was impossible. "Aurora," he said, his voice rough, "you cannot run from a bond like this." I shook my head violently. "I'm human! I'm not meant for- for you!" His chest rumbled behind me, a low, frustrated sound. "You are meant for me," he said, lips brushing the shell of my ear. "Fate does not make mistakes." His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."
