Novel ini merupakan kisah nyata yang diangkat dari pengalaman penulis sendiri sebagai seorang Anak Human Angel (anak indigo aliran kemalaikatan), akan tetapi dibumbui dengan peristiwa fiksi agar tercipta suatu naskah yang diharapkan dapat memperkuat jalannya cerita yang masih misteri berdasarkan pengalaman dan riset yang penulis pernah alami sejak usia tiga tahun melihat sosok malaikat itu bahwa memang nyata. Novel yang berjudul "In the Letter of Human Angel Messenger" atau dapat disingkat "ILHAM" ini menceritakan tentang kisah masa kecil seorang anak bernama Damien dari sepasang suami istri bernama Mr. Steven dan Mrs. Sophie yang tinggal di suatu pedesaan tepatnya di Kota Bandoeng. Suatu hari, Damien bertemu sosok malaikat dalam mimpinya yang bernama Gabriel. Di waktu dan tempat yang berbeda, muncul sosok malaikat pelindung yang kelak akan melindungi dirinya dari segala marabahaya sekaligus yang akan menghiburnya di kala suka dan duka. Ketika terjadi peristiwa di mana dirinya bermimpi melihat sosok jubah hitam itu, sampai seterusnya sosok itu muncul dalam kehidupannya. Damien sendiri tak tahu siapakah sosok tersebut. Dinamika kehidupan berlanjut, orang tua Damien kembali memiliki buah hati, seorang bayi kecil yang diberi nama Celine. Sejak itu, Damien pun menjadi sosok seorang kakak. Namun suasana berubah saat kehadiran orang baru dalam hidupnya, seorang saudara yang kini tinggal berdekatan bersama keluarganya, bernama Paman Alex. Pada suatu ketika, saat Papa memutuskan sekeluarga menengok opa dan omanya ke Malabar, Damien juga bertemu lagi sosok makhluk lainnya, bertambahlah sebuah pertemanan yang ada dalam kehidupannya bernama Malaikat Michael.
