When Karkat Vantas moves in with his brother Kankri and becomes "The New Kid," he is unsure of what to do. His online friend decides to take him under her wing, giving him a "moving makeover." He is befriended by a John Egbert and a cool kid. As he hangs out more and more with the nerd and cool kid he finds himself falling for the guy. Being the curious 16 year old he is, he decides to explore his feelings and finds himself stuck in an awkward situation. What will Karkat do?
