To live without Hope is to cease to live. - Dostoevsky It is 2050. It is the year humanity pins its hopes on the promise of a handful of men and women driven by a mad passion for science and survival, and the 512 that have forsaken their selves to save billions. A musical genius. An engineer. A diplomat. A man that has inherited a rare blood protein that has saved millions of infants. A dreamer. They are a mere handful in the vast array of vessels waiting for the future. What do they have in common? They are numbers whose combination of traits mean to give life to the many dreams all ye who live now have. They are lovers, mothers, sons, daughters, fathers, siblings, friends, progenitors of ideas, champions of values, culture and tradition, builders of hope, and lovers of life. This is just the beginning. A prelude to everything vast, wonderful, and terrible. This is their story, told through their letters. Across time. Beyond survival. #the512 #year2050 #dystopian #kshall #letters #wattage #postapocalyptic #prequel #beyondtime ***DISCLAIMER: 512 is a work of fiction. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

(ON HIATUS) The Maze is a huge event where close to a hundred people go into and compete in the maze each year, a test of intelligence, strength, and bravery where one most overcome their greatest fears and the hardest tests and obstacles to get through the maze and get out at the end of it. The hosts (usually rich half-drunk seniors) are offering 2M to winners of the competition each year. Plus, only high school kids are allowed in, and for the maze and the maze only, the police are told to completely ignore it, even though in the end only one comes out alive. All Ashley Blackwell ever wanted to do was get into Stanford University, as she feels like that's all her life depends on; the perfect education for her. But when her family's house burns down and the family is left poor, they move down to a forgotten town in California called Sacramentum, which is famous for being a town that no one speaks about, for reasons unknown to Ashley until she goes to prom and finds out what the summer has in hold for her, as long as she can survive the maze. What happens when Ashley enters the maze, and finds out that inside the maze, there are no laws, rules, and no level of violence not allowed, but they do have her most terrifying nightmares, tons of dying allies and enemies, battles, wars, teams, ghosts, and even a bit of magic in this whole new world people call The Endland? Some minds are fortunate - or unfortunate - enough to be unlocked. Jaspe is seventeen. He is one of the Elect - beings altered by a supernatural mutation, capable of harnessing the full potential of their augmented brains, endowed with abilities perceived by ordinary people as infra-cognitive and ultra-cognitive. When he encounters the True Humans, Jaspe believes he has finally found his own kind. A family. An answer to the chaos of the world. But behind the ideology of a perfect society lies an even more chilling truth: the eradication of free will. At their head stands Astrelli - brilliant, charismatic, terrifyingly lucid - convinced that humanity must be corrected in order to survive. Trapped within a project far greater than himself, Jaspe realises too late that some revolutions are not meant to save the world... but to claim it. And that the greatest horror is not death, but a world in which no one is allowed to choose. ____________________ A dystopian psychological horror novel without compromise, where utopia becomes the most violent of prisons.

A short story which follows a mermaid and her devastating trials with the human race. This short story is meant to portray the effects of pollution on our world's oceans. Please remember, conservation in the present is key to our future.

War has been devastating. In 1945, Hiroshima was devastated by the first nuclear bomb. Thousands died in a fiery instant. What will happen if we continue on this path?

Peace is a temporary constant. It never truly goes away, it simply rests. I think, the only way to create true peace, is by accepting the chaos. But all I've done is caused it. People have died, cities have burned, stories brought to life in the form of hellish monsters and demonic people. But I know there is good. I made a mistake, a lot, of mistakes. It's just me now because of it, although it's just him as well. Alias. One Human. One Monster. And a world at war. Living in a nightmare of hatred and racism, but I know we can wake them up. My name is Quill and I started a world war.
