The reason he hates water is because his parents tried to drown him in a lake called Sunlight Lake. He had an abusive sister but a loving brother, who was killed by his abusive family. What about Chase? He had his own horrific backstory too, with his owner abandoning him in Adventure City. In this alternate universe, Rocky never met the Paw Patrol and resorted to being a thief... but a thief for good reasons. Rocky gets caught by the team and is about to be brought to prison, but soon they realize he didn't mean any harm. With Rocky's past slowly catching up to him and Chase's fellow police officers after Rocky, the pups will have to do whatever it takes to help this misunderstood mixed breed find new friends... and a new home. Can they help him, or had he caught them in his own trap, and they are basically running towards their fateful demise? ----- Human AU. Chase is a police officer alongside Skye, Zuma, Rubble, Ryder, Marshall, Everest, and Tracker.
