Every short chapter showcases 6 college students and their alien friends, as they demonstrate how odd humans actually are compared to what Mother Nature intended. Imagine you are on a starship traveling the galaxy and you find a stowaway from a planet that you legally cannot interact with the habitants with do to intergalactic laws about interfering with technological advancements in a species. Now imagine that particular stowaway is batshit crazy, regularly craves foods that could kill or cause serious pain to any of your other crew members, and has some disturbing humor, and keeps bringing up something called Tumblr everytime you ask them what they are writing in their tablet.

The assignment was to grab a fully grown life form from a new planet they dubbed a 'Deathworld'. When one of the alien researchers grabbed not one, but 8 deathworld children, the researchers are left with no choice. They'll have to study the young Deathworlders without fail, besides, what harm can kits do?

Shallow Space is collection of short sci-fi stories. All of which take place on different planets, times, and not connected in any way. Bite sized sci-fi, which was mainly inspired by the "Humans are Space Orcs" stories i love to read. Every chapter containing a self-contained story of many ideas, turns and beyond. Some may be left for the readers imagination.

Midoriya Izuku used to laugh when asked that thought-provoking icebreaker question in middle school: Would you rather be stranded on an island alone or with your worst enemy? Kacchan would demolish a deserted island, make it his bitch; it would be a paradise by the end of the week, Izuku knew. Of course, he'd want Kacchan there, even if it meant Kacchan taking out his misplaced anger at being stranded in the first place out on him. He'd reap the benefits in the end, he knew. And with no one around to be an audience, to interfere, their friendship might even rekindle. Oh, if only Kacchan was really his "worst enemy." That was silly middle school thinking, Izuku now knew, as a third year student at UA. What's worse than being abducted by aliens? For Izuku, it was being abducted by aliens with his long time nemesis, Shigaraki Tomura. When Izuku is lucky contestant number one to be chosen to be experimented on, he makes it his mission to make sure that Shigaraki does not meet the same fate. It's not super surprising when Shigaraki isn't grateful, but hey, it's a plan, and Izuku's sticking to it, determined to be heroic whether Shigaraki wants him to or not, whether Shigaraki trusts him to be or not.

Continuation of Golden Stars, Bleeding Hearts. Edward was no stranger to nightmares. The sheer amount of trauma he had under his belt all but guaranteed that. It wasn't exactly anything new to him. What was new to him was having someone to help him through them.

Inspired by the 'Humans are Space Orcs' blog. In the future, humanity has made contact and been in friendly relations with aliens. Aliens find that human crew members are incredibly helpful but dangerous. These are the antics that insue when you have a crew of 7 aliens that don't fully understand their 3 human crewmates. Oh and by the way, TerraGov is a democratic galactic nation that assimilated all human nations into one supernation to unify the species, and the current leader is named Chad for comedic purposes. Don't question it.
