Terrans are not the strongest species in the universe. They are not the fastest species. They are most definitely not the smartest. But Terrans are the loneliest, willing to befriend anything that moves and several things that don't. After humanity nearly made themselves extinct with a "Terran brand oopsie"™, trillions of Terrans awaken from stasis and set themselves upon a Galaxy teeming with alien life, each writing their own story among the stars. Stories of compassion, of anger, of revenge, of justice. Stories of the clever and stories of the downright stupid. But mostly the story of Terrans looking for the one thing that all beings desire: Friendship amongst a lonely universe.

An #HFY story. The Galactic Concord's Military Combat Exhibition is meant to be a polite display of doctrine-an arena where species prove they're disciplined, fearless, and worthy of command contracts. Then Alex Parfitt arrives: a human competitor with shaking hands, relentless checklists, and the unmistakable look of someone who has already lived through ten disasters that haven't happened yet. The audience laughs... until she starts winning events she shouldn't be able to win. Until a "harmless" stress test turns into sabotage. Until the aliens realise the truth: humans don't conquer fear. They refine it, sharpen it, and aim it like a weapon. At a galactic combat exhibition designed to measure courage, one human competitor rewrites the scoring system-because Humanity doesn't run on bravery. It runs on weaponised anxiety. Content Warnings: Combat violence (non-graphic but intense). Psychological stress / panic symptoms (depicted as functional coping). Sabotage / attempted harm

Humans manage to establish contact with the Galactic Union, and as proof of their first encounter, they take their newfound allies to the world of young scientist Kluk, an expert on humans (because before contact, they had secretly spied on them). Their destination was the planet Kovit-02. Everything went well during the humans' visit-except for certain incidents that Kluk noted with concern. He was right-oh, he was very right. Humans and the beings from their world were devourers of worlds, and everyone was in danger.

Imagine you are on a starship traveling the galaxy and you find a stowaway from a planet that you legally cannot interact with the habitants with do to intergalactic laws about interfering with technological advancements in a species. Now imagine that particular stowaway is batshit crazy, regularly craves foods that could kill or cause serious pain to any of your other crew members, and has some disturbing humor, and keeps bringing up something called Tumblr everytime you ask them what they are writing in their tablet.

A continuation of Golden Stars, Bleeding Hearts! M'staeng didn't expect anything strange when Alphonse had asked him for pens and paper. He and Ed probably just wanted to write or draw or something, right? He'd see whatever it is they'd done when they finished, compliment it, and encourage their interests. That was part of being a good parent, right? Of course, his assumptions about their little project were nothing like the reality. Just what the hell was alchemy, anyway?

It was a normal mission. Dismantling fighting rings was routine for M'staeng at this point. What was not normal was getting himself captured on one of those missions, but that was fine. H'kye killing him when she inevitably rescued him scared him more than anything the Homn'cli could do to him. It wouldn't be too bad. Of course, he didn't expect for the Homn'cli to have captured a fucking human, much less make them his cellmate. Sharing a cage with a species considered death incarnate wasn't how M'staeng saw his imprisonment going. Death incarnate was...surprisingly small.

(!eventual smut!) Ever since humans joined many of the other intelligent creatures in space travel, they have learned just how dangerous their environments are. For years all others thought humans could survive anything, until multiple reported incidents with mixed species crews. But until now, all of them thought every single on of the humans were stronger than the rest. Until you. Your dream was to explore space, and how weak or strong you are will not stop you.

Inspired by the 'Humans are Space Orcs' blog. In the future, humanity has made contact and been in friendly relations with aliens. Aliens find that human crew members are incredibly helpful but dangerous. These are the antics that insue when you have a crew of 7 aliens that don't fully understand their 3 human crewmates. Oh and by the way, TerraGov is a democratic galactic nation that assimilated all human nations into one supernation to unify the species, and the current leader is named Chad for comedic purposes. Don't question it.

So I'm really into Humans are Space Orcs, and I decided that I would make my own little short stories and such about the cute but terrifying creatures we are and our strange habits. So enjoy my kinda bad but comprehensible writing, and thanks for visiting my story.

Continuation of Golden Stars, Bleeding Hearts. Edward was no stranger to nightmares. The sheer amount of trauma he had under his belt all but guaranteed that. It wasn't exactly anything new to him. What was new to him was having someone to help him through them.

For most of the universe, humans were a rarity and seen as a threat. Something to view with both horror and mild awe, a destructive race with a thirst for blood. And while some diplomats were trying to change that opinion it wasn't particularly easy, especially with Res Novas around. The team of seven were an anomaly in itself. Seven humans/human-hybrids who had somehow made it off Earth without any records? It normally took several cycles worth of work on the necessary paperwork alone, not to mention the need to learn Intragalactic Common and often a few more languages just to qualify. For the team however, life went on as usual, casual squabbles, constant missions, meetings and briefings that nobody enjoyed, a few stabbing threats and of course team bonding activities. Though for them team bonding usually ended with an arm being thrown across the room, or someone having a snack hitting them dead centre in the forehead. But they cared for one another more than they thought was possible most days, and as long as they were together they were happy.
