Vree liked his humans. They were kind, clever, and tended to be adorable, in the way that a small, particularly spiny cub was adorable right before it bit you. Of course, small adorable cubs usually couldn't shapeshift or burst into flame whenever it suited them. Tusca hired a teenager on a whim, and a doctor because they were old friends. Unfortunately, nothing is ever simple when a Red Baron is at the helm.

Humans manage to establish contact with the Galactic Union, and as proof of their first encounter, they take their newfound allies to the world of young scientist Kluk, an expert on humans (because before contact, they had secretly spied on them). Their destination was the planet Kovit-02. Everything went well during the humans' visit-except for certain incidents that Kluk noted with concern. He was right-oh, he was very right. Humans and the beings from their world were devourers of worlds, and everyone was in danger.

No less than two years after humanity's acceptance into the Galactic Assembly and participation in the Drev War, most aliens have still never seen a human. Rumors run rampant about these strange, powerful predators, so much so that news of them has spread across the known universe. Krill, an alien surgeon stationed at the galaxy's largest trauma center, hardly has time to believe these rumors, but a freak accident aboard a human spaceship brings him in contact with the first human he has ever met. Fascinated by their wonderful strangeness , he finds himself a member of the crew under a young and inexperienced captain with no idea what he's gotten himself into.

Inspired by the 'Humans are Space Orcs' blog. In the future, humanity has made contact and been in friendly relations with aliens. Aliens find that human crew members are incredibly helpful but dangerous. These are the antics that insue when you have a crew of 7 aliens that don't fully understand their 3 human crewmates. Oh and by the way, TerraGov is a democratic galactic nation that assimilated all human nations into one supernation to unify the species, and the current leader is named Chad for comedic purposes. Don't question it.

Kaztegs is an archeologist from the planet Drat. One day while exploring a debris field they tried to pick up an armed warhead and badly damaged their ship. With rescue light years off and systems failing rapidly they turn towards a primitive inhabited planet called Terra. During descent they're hit with more space debris and crash to the planet's surface. There they integrate into a human society while waiting for rescue. This is Kaztegs' adventures of living in the human town called Rockwell in a place called Maine.

Shen just wanted to know more about humans. Ella just wanted to have an adventure. Neither works out they way they want. (or in other words where Humans are the space terminator and yet also the really cuddly pets.)

So I'm really into Humans are Space Orcs, and I decided that I would make my own little short stories and such about the cute but terrifying creatures we are and our strange habits. So enjoy my kinda bad but comprehensible writing, and thanks for visiting my story.

Based off of a ton of Tumbir posts and fanfics about "Humans are space orcs" and "Earth is space australlia". Set in the voltron universe, Allura, Coran, the Galrans all see that they really did underestimate humans- they can be utterly terrifying at times. *Ok, Lance is the foucus of some (read: a ton) of chapters, since I love him.

so I've dove down a hole of this Humans are Weird tag on Tumblr, so i thought i'd make a book of my favorite ones, and some i come up with myself. i'll try and put the persons Tumblr on the page in case you wanna check them out but i might not always be able too. enjoy!

We're all a little twisted. We just need someone to give us the strength to fly. Mikolath hates the humans. Okay, hate is a strong word. Not hate, just doesn't understand, and is confused by them. They 'snore', they 'sing', 'dance', and do other things a member of the Piththaz species would never do. However, Mikolath must learn to get used to these 'humans,' when the captain of his ship takes three of them in. Unfortunately for Mikolath, human Jackie has decided to bond with him and will not let him have peace. It's not until they visit the planet of Thrakog that things begin to change. A new discovery, new boundaries and many new experiences await for Mikolath as he tries to keep human Jackie out of trouble.
