Due to this, humans are given the expected work to service those higher than them, given specific jobs as an Ansanlus isn't just some differing species; they're the copying myth of vampires. As humans are given uniforms and orders to service the needs of their bosses, some are forced in the role of feeders. Otherwise known as those with well blood to share as food, often the jobs given through generations amongst generations of a human. Other humans are blessed to be bodyguards, gardeners, pleasures, etc. But, to be a feeder is to be a privilege above poverty. Bill Cipher, the prince of the Ansanlus', is the main most are expected to pleasure his expectations. Some don't, some rarely do - some die trying to. So, many stare with tension as the newly assigned feeder of the prince isn't very - well. Entertaining, or interesting in general. In fact, the human doesn't speak or react at all.
