Waking the dead

The son of an eccentric scientist finds a weird looking device only referred to as "the Key". He brings it to school, and, after showing it to his friends.. Puts it in the ground and opens hell up to the rest of the world. Kids, this is why you don't go snooping.

Everything was cold. I couldn't seem to find a light. Groping in the darkness, my fingers brushed against a light switch. I flicked it on and realized I was in a simple parlor. But why? I looked out the window and instantly felt nauseous. Where was I? I still don't know.

When the world went silent during the 21 days of human lockdown, another empire began to rise-the Kingdom of Mosquitoes. Badshah, the furious king with a bloodthirsty sword...
