After winning the 73rd Hunger Games, Juliet is now District 9 victor alongside her lifelong friend, Luke. The victors are tested as they face the trials of the Capitol while mentoring their tributes in the 74th Games.

At the age of 17 his two friends, one being his childhood best friend and the other the love of his life, give birth to a tiny baby girl only a month before being reaped and sent to the Hunger Games. Now, Vito has to deal with the possible loss of his friends, along with taking care of the baby they have trusted him with, even if he doesn't trust himself.

It is the year of the 31st Hunger Games. Everything is running the same. The same old boring speech given by the same old lady. Most of us are selfish and are just glad it isn't ourselves up on the stage. Others no longer care, because they've seen it so many times and this has become the normal for them or because they have seen their own family member or loved one on the stage. Either way they no longer care. This year is different though, this year someone is picked who has nothing to lose and doesn't care for the system. This year it's going to be interseting. rowan stonewood is selected to represent district 7 in the 2nd quarter quell, or the 50th hunger games. this means that there will be 48 tributes, and 2 winners, who will gain twice the amount of respect, fame, and glory. the quiet, sweet girl that rowan is, nobody places their bets on her. she begins to turn heads, though, when she forms a group of the "losers," and they're actually 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥. they're deemed, with the affection of the capitol, "the embers," and their well-known rivalry with the pack of careers earns them more attention from the people, who evidently love drama. but fire is catching. and we all know how fast flames can spread.
