It is the year of the 31st Hunger Games. Everything is running the same. The same old boring speech given by the same old lady. Two kids picked and the same old tears shed as they walk up to the podium. The same old screams heard every year from the shocked parents. The same old cheers and jeers from the same old gamblers betting who will be picked this year. The same old routine. Over and over again. You would think there would be more to it, but there isnt. Maybe for the first years who have never had the chance to be picked before and are still sympathetic for the others who are picked but not for the most of us. Most of us are selfish and are just glad it isn't ourselves up on the stage. Others no longer care, because they've seen it so many times and this has become the normal for them or because they have seen their own family member or loved one on the stage. Either way they no longer care. This year is different though, this year someone is picked who has nothing to lose and doesn't care for the system. This year it's going to be interseting.
