During the Hungry Ghost Festival in Singapore, a group of rebellious youths decides to challenge traditional superstitions by playing pranks and disrespecting the customs of the festival. However, when they unwittingly awaken vengeful spirits that seek retribution for their mockery, the group is forced to confront the consequences of their actions. As they delve deeper into the dark secrets of the festival and face supernatural threats beyond their comprehension, one of them undergoes a transformative journey of redemption guided by the intervention of a late ancestor from the gates of hell.
