A high school/ modern AU. Keith life has been awful so far. Shiro, Matt, and Sam are all pharmaceutical scientist that all work together. They went to Harvard University and found a cure for cancer. All three separately go around the country as guest speakers for events and schools. One day, Shiro happens to be a guest at Keith's school. Meeting Shiro was a turning point in Keith's life that only led to more turning points. With the path Keith is heading down, he runs into a certain blue-eyed Cuban boy.

Lance had joined his family back for summer vacation, and he was pumped! Not only he would see his whole family for the summer, but he would be able to go to the beach every day! There had been recent unknown creatures seen around the coast and all the theorists had swarmed the sands, making Lance quite annoyed. But his curiosity from following a shadow in the waters brought him to a relaxing area, hidden from the rest of the beach. As he lays on his surf board everyday he starts to get suspicious, with sudden movement in the water and seeing shadows around the pool of water. Keith had been spotted multiple times from coming closer to land, he had been chased out of his pod 10 years ago from sharks and hasn't found them since. He had been trying to get into another pod for years now but had always been kicked out eventually. But to his luck he had brought a human to the area he had been living for a year. But as he had seen the boy each day, he had started to get attached. "The rest of the team has probably gotten here by now, but Lance doesn't have it in him to care. The two of them throw themselves at eachother, grabbing at eachother like it'd be their last. Lance thinks he's choking, but he also thinks it's because of the way his eyes water and breath gets short. Keith, who, Lance notes, is an inch or so taller than he was before, grapples at Lance. Hey, sorry guys. This is the rewrite for Romeo and Juliet~Klance. Wattpad decided to be a little butthead and shift my chapters around and won't let me fix it, so I have to start from scratch. Luckily, it didn't delete any of the words in my chapters, so I'm going to copy and paste and hope all turns out well. Fingers crossed it doesn't do the same thing again. I got the idea for this story from a song by Taylor Swift called "Love Story". I also just really love the story of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare although I've never actually read the whole thing. This isn't based off of Romeo and Juliet, so don't worry if you have never read Romeo and Juliet, but some of the characters are going to be a tiny little bit like their counterparts, mainly Shiro, Keith and Lance. This is also a soulmates/ omega-verse fan fiction because Voltron needs more of them :) I have also modernized the story and the "Women/ Omega's Rights" from when Romeo and Juliet actually takes place.
