Especially considering that Shiro is one of the most important people in Matt's life to him. Lotor has serious family issues. He basically has been disowned by his own father, and his own mother is insane. Lotor is becoming more emotionally unstable as every quintant passes. Haggar just wants to be beautiful again. She is being forced to keep the "evil profile". It's hard not to try to make your husband remember that you're his wife or that he doesn't need to be evil when he is trying to take over the entire universe.
