It's funny how love works. Ya'know, there's several ways of falling in love... Love at first sight.... The set up kind of love... The 'best friend' secret love... But I never knew that getting shot was another way to fall in love. Stevie Brooks lived a pretty good life... Ya'know, she had the somewhat well-paying-job and nice parents (even if they were a bit snobbish). But, she didn't have friends. Now, she was perfectly capable of making friends, she just didn't find any reason as to why she should. I mean, she's got books, and they're kinda the same thing, right?
