Skye is Hunter and Blake's new neighbor, she and her father travel and meeting the new teams of rangers. Her father was the first original red ranger, then he had his daughter so he asked Jason to take his place. So her father was assigned to find and meet the newest ranger team. When she moves to Blue Bay Harbor she catches the eye of a certain Crimson Thunder Ranger.

Vera Bradley, the adopted sister to Blake and Hunter, joins them on a mission to destroy Sensei Watanabe, the man who is responsible for murdering their parents. The three of them were brought together when they were young. Blake was adopted into the family before Vera, but they still welcomed her with open arms. She was six when they took her in. Vera doesn't remember much about her past, other than the fact that she never had any real parents. Now, the three orphans live in an alien ship owned by a creature named Lothor who claims to have saved them from Watanabe when he killed their parents. Vera isn't too fond of their new guardian, but he allows them to use their ninja training whenever they want so she didn't complain much. However, when Vera is ordered to destroy three power rangers who are said to be 'protecting' Watanabe, she begins to change her mind about trusting Lothor, which creates a rift between her and her brothers. (I didn't realize Vera Bradley was literally a brand name until after...so we're just gonna go with it. I hope you enjoy)

Dustin has a major crush on Hunter, which he thinks is unrequited. Rhett has started hanging out with the rangers in order to get close to Dustin. The rest of the rangers tolerate Rhett for Dustin, except Hunter who outright shows his dislike of him. When Dustin shows up with bruises that obviously didn't come from his new boxing class, Hunter is determined to figure out what is going on.
