Avery has always dreamed about going to California, so when her mom suggests they stay with her friend Selene in Huntington Beach for the summer, she's completely stoked. She becomes great friends with Selene's kids, Adrianna and Owen, and together they meet the Boys of Emblem3. Avery becomes close to Wesley, and she immediately realizes that he's different from any guy she's ever met. Many obstacles test the couple's relationship, but ultimately their trust in eachother is what pulls them through. That is, until an unexpected visitor turns Avery's world upside down... A/N: This book takes place about a year before Emblem3 decided to audition for X Factor. Before auditioning for XF, Emblem3 was going to audition for America's Got Talent, but they decided the competition wasn't for them so they bailed on the audition. This is why AGT is mentioned in some of the later chapters. No worries guys, I know they didn't actually audition for AGT! Starting over was never easy. At least to me it never was. Especially when it is your last year of High School and you move to a totally new state in the middle of a new term. New Town. New School. New Friends. New Enemies. Yeah, I never liked starting over. It just wasn’t my thing. But I didn’t argue--I didn’t have a choice so why bother?
