Melissa is a middle-aged woman who lives a normal life. Until she gets into a car crash and meets a Tsing Sheng, or a temporary ghost. She has to go to extreme measures to revive him so her loved ones don't die.
Jay died in a car crash. Although his body is in a coffin, his soul becomes a Tsing Sheng. Melissa is the only person who can see him and revive him. If she fails to do so within 90 days, Jay can never get to the afterlife and Melissa's loved ones die.

"Oh. So are you really a ghost?" asked Melissa.
"Great, we're ready to have this conversation?" Without waiting for a reply, Jay continued. "Like I said before, I am a Tsing Sheng. Which is a ghost. But different." He paused for a moment. "One can only become a Tsing Sheng if two people get into an accident together with similar backgrounds."
"You're the person who died! The-the person in the car!" Melissa said suddenly.
Jay nodded. "Yes, yes, that was me. Anyway," he continued, "A Tsing Sheng can be described as a trapped soul. A Tsing Sheng can forever be stuck as a 'ghost', they can go up to the afterlife, or they can be revived to continue their lives. It is the Suo You's responsibility to revive the Tsing Sheng within 90 days."
"A Suo You?"
"A Suo You is the person who was in the accident with the person who died. Which is you," added Jay.
"Wait, I can't revive you or anything. Find someone else other than me," said Melissa, shaking her head.
"You can't refuse. If you fail to revive me, then, well, all of your loved ones die," he responded casually. "But no problem, right?" He sighed. "Well, it really is a shame that you won't help me. But that's fine. I'll get going now." He got up and floated to the window.
"Wait! Fine, I'll help you," Melissa said.
"Great."
