But her life starts to change when a telepathic voice appears in her head and one of her friends gets a prophetic vision. Now she and 6 other huskies are stuck on a dangerous quest to hopefully save the pack from the poison infecting their rivers..

I removed the dream catcher from my face and sat up on my bed. I turned my gaze to the clock on the side table; it was 7:15. "Ugh," I moaned. "it's too early." I closed my eyes and tried to sleep again. A few minutes passed until somebody knocked on the door. "Marie," said the person who knocked on the door. "Let's go already!" Shoot, I forgot. No wonder I woke up so early. I quickly rose to my feet and rushed to the bathroom. "Marie! Are you even awake?" I didn't respond just yet because I was in the shower. A few moments later, the same person knocked on my door. "I've got the keys, Marie," she said. I could hear her shaking the keys outside my door. "You can't stay asleep forever!" Hurriedly, I placed on my blue blouse and pants. I grabbed the brush from the bathroom and started to comb my dark brown hair. Rushing to the door, I opened it to see my friend Ranie Accendo. I eyed her gray blazer over her white shirt, pants, and boots. "What took you so long?" she asked. "Nevermind that." I shook my hand dismissively. "Where are we going? If it's not important, I'm going back to bed." "To the forest." "The forest? Why?"
