An original Star Wars story, set after Rise of Skywalker, about a boy who has nothing and how he gains everything. The young Maru Dystra, lives in a world of corruption, starvation, disease, drought and pain. His parents had left him years ago, he's been forced to survive on the planet of Da Soocha, a world destroyed by Hutt greed. The infection, known only as the "Disease", has finally reached him. Maru has two choices; die in the street or cut out his own eye to survive. After an excruciatingly painful ordeal, a women takes him to safety, she was a Jedi once. Will she grant him the power he requires? His goal, redemption. Maru wishes to destroy the Hutts, he is full of rage and fueled by ambition to free his people.

When she was 6 her mother was sold to someone else, leaving her alone without anyone, when she turned 14 she meets a strange man who says she could be so much more then a servant but is that even true?
