Hu Tao and Xiao were two students at the same high school who were polar opposites. Hu Tao was the popular, extroverted girl who always had a smile on her face and a joke to share. Xiao, on the other hand, was the quiet, mysterious transfer student who kept to himself and seemed to always have a cloud over his head. Despite their differences, they both found themselves in the same class together and were frequently paired up as partners for group projects. At first, they struggled to get along, with Xiao barely speaking and Hu Tao constantly trying to break the tension with her jokes. But as the year progressed, they started to understand each other a little better. As they worked together, they discovered that they had a shared love of history and philosophy. They would often stay after school to discuss their latest findings and theories, losing track of time as they lost themselves in the conversation. Hu Tao's friends were surprised to see her spending so much time with Xiao and even thought that she might have a crush on him. But Hu Tao knew that it was more than that. She saw something in Xiao that she had never seen before - a passion for life that she wanted to bring out in him. As they spent more and more time together, the walls between them started to come down. They laughed and talked like old friends, with Xiao opening up about his past and Hu Tao showing him how to lighten up and let loose. By the end of the school year, they had become two of the closest friends in the whole school. They had learned from each other, shared secrets and laughs, and had created memories that would last a lifetime. And even though they knew that they would be going their separate ways after graduation, they both knew that their friendship would never be forgotten.

Hu Tao is the princess and has to choose between Prince Xiao her close friend in Zhongli training or her best friend Prince Xingqiu.

But weirdly enough, the students aren't serious as some may think. Shenanigans will erupt almost everyday, the teachers also cause the troubles as well. Will the school ever be okay? I got this idea while reading Running In The Moonlight by @starrdustxo In this AU Hu Tao is Marinette and Xiao is Adrien but I switched and changed a few things to make it fit and original. This story will not 100% fit as an actual Miraculous AU because Xiao isn't an only child, the bakery is the funeral parlor, this isn't their first year in high school so Hu Tao already has friends, and it's taking place in Liyue, not Paris.
