Nari Hernandez has lived in Mexico with both of her parents until she was 6 years old when her father Héctor Herndanez died of a brain cancer and so her mother Lim Bora decided to just go back to her birth country South Korea and took Nari there with her. But things changed for Nari once they arrived in South Korea because Bora started becoming very busy to even spend some time with her own daughter, and Nari had a really hard time making friends growing up because they'd judge her for being half-Mexican. So once she met her ex-husband Kim Hwan, she thought he loved her but it turned out he didn't because he was more into the money and so when he married Nari, he just lazed around and didn't care enough that they had a child together.
