Hugo is currently going through a conflict with his boyfriend Elliah. In an attempt to take a break from the situation, he decides to go on a vacation to Isladel Deseo. While there, he meets Aya, who seems like an innocent guy who doesn't quite match Hugo's usual standards. However, as the days pass and their paths continue to cross, Hugo begins to feel his heart shift in a way he never expected.

[Junghwan POV] A vintage house, with tall windows and a huge terrace on the second floor. A tune starts to sound. A piano. I don't know that tune, but it hypnotizes me, it lures me in. "Happy birthday, Dobby." [SO JUNGHWAN X KIM DOYOUNG]

In this Dark world they met and became each other's light.

"Junghwan give me a year, please be with me for a year if things didn't work out within a year I will let you go. I will disappear from your life." He looks at me with pleading eyes. "What made you think na matutunan kita mahalin kung magsasama tayo in a year? I challenged him. "How about you what makes you think na you will not fall for me if we stay together in a year?" This guy really never back down.

The hallway is filled with the usual after-class noise when a sudden gust of wind scatters a stack of papers across the floor. Doyoung, caught off guard and visibly flustered, immediately kneels down to gather them before they get further ruined. Junghwan, passing by after basketball practice, notices the mess and instinctively stops to help without hesitation. As they both reach for the same scattered sheets, their fingers brush brief but enough to freeze the moment between them. When Doyoung looks up, they lock eyes for a second that feels strangely longer than it should. The noise of the hallway fades into the background, leaving only a quiet, unspoken awareness between them. Junghwan helps gather the remaining papers, and Doyoung softly thanks him, still slightly embarrassed but calmer now. Their conversation is simple-just polite words about the wind and the mess-but there's an awkward softness underneath it, like neither of them fully understands why the moment feels significant. Around them, their friends notice the interaction and quietly react, but the focus stays on the two of them. Even after the papers are collected, the brief contact, the eye contact, and the closeness linger. They properly introduce themselves Junghwan and Doyoung and exchange small smiles that feel unexpectedly meaningful for something so ordinary. The moment ends with everything back to normal on the surface, but something subtle has shifted between them. What started as a random accident becomes the first thread of a quiet connection neither of them expected.
