He wandered the world he ended up lost in, couldn't catch a glance of a single small town boy... the world he now walked seemed different, darker with each step taken as the wind hurriedly carried the memories filled with nothing but pieces of his own regrets caused by his greed. The path ahead made him follow along, eager brown expecting with each step further to meet the oceans of two gorgeous blue. Like a distant dream the hope had dissapeared, now meeting nothing but two evil sharp cat-like eyes that stared back at him, claws shining under the pale moonlight. He couldn't fault him for not knowing of a better tomorrow, Gon didn't know of one himself as they both underestimated the path to their future. Even further beyond... all kinds of things emerge every tomorrow... Time was priceless. At least that's what they had a lot of. Every dawn could mean millions... at least that's what he learned on their everlasting journey.

He squeezes his eyes tight until he feels calloused fingers gently take his hands, lowering them from his burning ears. Killua opens his eyes slowly, only to find Gon on the floor, kneeling, beaming. "I solemnly vow to protect you!" Killua grows more flustered, shaking his head. Killua squeaks, and Gon's act almost falls apart with how cute it is, quickly bumbling his way through.
