This takes place during the Yorknew City arc, after Kurapika has now learned nen, and after requesting a job, preferably from people with ties to the Yorknew City auction (to hopefully encounter and eradicate the Phantom Troupe), he must first be evaluated to see whether he has the skills to fulfill the job required.
