"Well if you don't, then I'll tie you to the bedpost, like I said earlier." She warned, her own eyes filled with seriousness as she placed a hand onto his still clothed chest, keeping herself close to him. She was brave and bold, even dominating when needed, and Dark couldn't help but admire that. He leant close, his own condescending smirk staying light with amusement, his lips growing closer to hers, though he kept himself distant. "Now is that a threat, or a promise?" He questioned, his gaze never leaving those deep brown orbs that had somehow entranced him. She simply chuckled at this, her own seriousness fading into a calm and wanting gaze. "Can't it be both? A threatening promise? It does have a nice ring to it after all." She said, waiting for him to subdue to her will, knowing it would be slightly difficult, even if it was her doing the work. He laughed again, this time a bit more amused than before. If she believed she could just make him break like that, she had another thing coming. "It's hardly threatening, little Angel. After all, I doubt you'll actually deliver on that promise." (Heya guys. This is a book I created from the inspiration of a friend I had done a roleplay with. A lab-made hybrid boy has recently learned the reasons for his creation. He was made to be a controlled monster in a war that's been destroying the world for the past 50 years. The revelation shook the little he knew about his life, and now, he must find a way to escape from the lab that made him. The outside world is ridden with radiation that has rendered only parts of the earth inhabitable. He must fight his way through overgrown forests and horrible memories to run as far as he can away from the lab. Along the way, the boy must forge allies and learn to live in a destroyed world where no one looks quite like he does if he wants to survive. And who knows. Maybe one day he'll shock the world and become a hero.
