Nova Silvella is put into a coma after a freak hurricane in her area. When she finally wakes up, days later, the stormy conditions that had remained suddenly dissipated, like a miracle. She realizes that she has the strange ability to control water and wind, and thus, the weather. After she learns that her family is missing, she leaves the hospital and makes her way to a place she's heard will offer her safety for a while. They are the first, but they won't be the last.
