They named the first daughter Zelda, hoping the Goddess Hylia would answer their prayers and keep the tradition of her unlocked the sacred power to seal Calamity Ganon. The second daughter, (Y/n), was hidden from the public eye at the request of the King. Zelda spent almost her whole life with government studies and prayer being stuffed into her face, her personal passions being frowned upon. (Y/n), on the other hand, had no duties to fulfill and instead studied alongside her sister, became a knight, and made a certain special friend. Despite having a place among those she's closest to, she still feels confused, as if something in her life quite hasn't clicked into place yet... ...that is, until her entire world crumbles whenever she realizes that her true purpose is that of which her sister had been promised her entire life. The legend of the hero, Link, the Goddess reborn, Zelda, and evil reincarnate, Ganon has been ingrained in the history of Hyrule from its very inception. Link, a young boy clad in green, is always destined to vanquish evil and save Hyrule, however, what if Link was betrayed by those he called allies? Before Hyrule prospered, before Skyloft was created, a hero lived in the land of Hylia, and though his deeds earned him legendary status amongst the peoples of Hylia, there were those who resented the hero. Framed for a crime he did not commit, the young man was cast in chains, forever to be locked away. That is, until the traitor's plot was uncovered. However, years had passed as the hero rotted away in a murky cellar. Could he truly forgive the people their sins? Could he accept their offer to save them once more from the encroaching armies of darkness? Could he take on that mantle once more and be the hero he had forged himself as? Or would he leave them to burn...?

The war on the land dwellers was brutal, so much so that the Goddess tore a piece of the Earth containing the remaining peoples and brought them into the sky to launch an attack upon her enemies on the Surface. The carnage was horrific, even as she succeeded in sealing away the root of all evil in the Sealed Grounds. Though the land below had been forgotten by Skyloft's inhabitants due to the cloud barrier barring their vision until all that remained of the War and the Surface were mere myth, many tend to overlook a key factor and influence of the War between humanity and monsters. That very key happens to be another deity who stood by Hylia's side in Godhood, one who fought for the humans and land-dwellers while perceived as member of the very evil they ran from. Though appearing on opposite ends, the Goddesses set their intertwined plans into motion for when destiny would call upon their chosen ones to save their world. And just what led up to the devastating War waged by the Demon King to gain the ultimate power in the land? For better - or for worse - we'll just have to wait and see. . .

Going hero by hero, I tell the story, but change it up too to make something a new, bit based on headcanons and ideas. Theyre serious at times but I might add some comedy here and there, mainly from Link's view as he goes through the adventure. The first part, or chapter of this, is my idea though on how the entire "chosen hero" thing started... Of course I own nothing besides any headcanons. Spoilers is the obvious.

Farore, the goddess of Courage is sent on a quest to find Hylia, the goddess of light, who had gone missing prior to Farore's arrival. When Farore is faced with many challenges she finds out the real reason behind Hylia's disappearance.

When unsuspecting Neri is thrown into a Legend of Zelda game that was never meant to be released, she miraculously meets the Hero of Time himself. However, a strange symbol has appeared on the back of her hand, a Triforce piece different than Link's or any other. With it comes powers and secrets she never thought she had and must learn to control; while her new abilities bring many dangers to herself and gambles that risk more than just her life. When she learns the most startling fact about herself, Neri knows that she'll have to fight for more lives than just her own. With Link's help and a few friends, Neri starts her quest to return to her world. Despite the adrenaline and hopelessness, another feeling grows under her skin: A certain warmness which is all aimed at Link. Above all, one question remains: Using these new powers and abilities, will Neri be able to survive long enough to get home?

A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Hyrule needs a hero, and that hero happens to be Link. Takes place after Breath of the Wild. The cover photo isn't mine! All character rights go to Nintendo, but the plot is mineee! **ON HOLD** Sequel to Saving A Lost Kingdom After fleeing the castle, Aryll must figure out how to protect and raise the heirs of Hyrule's royal family while also discovering a way to save Link and Zelda from the threat that nearly killed them. Will she succeed or will the royal bloodline become history?

Stella can barely remember what happened after the calamity hit, memories jambiled together but she at least remembered more than the hero. After the fight with Demise, Fi had Ghirahim restored back to life. She became forged within the Master Sword leaving Ghirahim alone in the land of Hyrule. He looked for her. From the games Skyward Sword up to Hyrule Warriors, Ghirahim and Fi try to get reunited with each other. (Illustrations are not mine) This story will be the first of a three-part trilogy dedicated to the two swords of Hylia.
