A hymn of Christian dismissal, composed by the Nigerian hymn writer, Okoye David Ikechukwu, and former choirmaster at Christ Holy Church International, serves as a poignant invocation to God, the paramount communicant. This hymn emanated from an inspired moment during a choir rehearsal at the local church, which typically concluded at 9 pm amid a heavy downpour. This musical composition articulates a humble plea to the Almighty, beseeching His divine guidance for the congregation as they depart from the gathering. Specifically crafted for occasions of Christian dismissal, the hymn fervently implores God to lead the attendees safely home, invoking His blessings upon them. With an emphasis on formality, the hymn conveys a solemn and respectful tone, capturing the essence of a Christian gathering's closure and the devout request for divine protection during the journey homeward. The use of terminologies aligns with the sacred context, and the hymn stands as a testament to the composer's deep connection with faith and the shared spiritual journey of the congregation.

Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ is a novel by Lew Wallace, published by Harper and Brothers on November 12, 1880 and considered "the most influential Christian book of the nineteenth century". [1] It became a best-selling American novel, surpassing Harriet Beecher Stowe 's Uncle Tom's Cabin (1852) in sales. The book also inspired other novels with biblical settings and was adapted for the stage and motion picture productions. The story recounts the adventures of Judah Ben-Hur , a Jewish prince from Jerusalem, who is enslaved by the Romans at the beginning of the first century and becomes a charioteer and a Christian. Running in parallel with Judah's narrative is the unfolding story of Jesus, from the same region and around the same age. The novel reflects themes of betrayal, conviction, and redemption, with a revenge plot that leads to a story of love and compassion.

This is a church song I wrote when I was 16. I had a lot of help on the last half from my youth pastor and the drama teacher from my church. I'm not in church like I used to be, but I figured I'd post it here anyway.

"What is imagination? I've never heard that word before." Every idea has been used. Every joke has been told. Every picture has been painted. Every colour has been chosen. The world is monotone. But into this world bound by economy and productivity, this world without escape, come nine girls who find their way into St Eglantine's Home for the Mentally Unsound. They are strange. They are hated. They do inexplicable things. They are the hope of returning creativity to the world. But they must find people who will listen, people who are willing to be inspired, before their unknown enemy catches up with them and destroys imagination forever.
