Hello, i am Haldor, i am 20 years old and i suffer with major anxiety, been diagnosed with it this year and i've been struggling for almost 3 years. This will be a diary that i will use to describe how each day goes for me, i'm doing this to calm myself before bed, and to vent about it. I hope that with this story i'll be able to reach people that feel like they're alone, but hey remember that everything will be alright :). PS. English is not my main language so i might do some mistakes here and there.

Sick. Spiteful. Hypochondriac. And unwilling to visit doctors. A short story where you'll see my excessive worrying and over thinking about having throat cancer.

I fear disappointing people. The woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. There are times where I forget what it means to be human, and delve so deep into an unforgiving feeling, that it destroys everything I love. I only have myself to blame.

What we read, see has a lot of impact on our mind subconsciously. Sometimes something happens that makes us question our sanity. A simple run that led to an unexpected paranormal experience. I still can't figure out if this was fictitious or real. Why don't you help me decide?

This is a short story that I wrote for my creative writing class. My professor really enjoyed it and said I should enter it into some writing contests, so I thought I'd publish it here to start. This is a creative nonfiction piece that is based on a true story about the time I had an irrational "cancer scare" and how my mom helped me get over it, hence the title "Doctor Mom." My goal for this piece is to give readers insight into the context behind my hypochondria and to ultimately show readers that cancer isn't a death sentence. I hope y'all enjoy my story!

To continue where so rudely interuppted, Mumsie's Pa was the local alchemist. Grandpa had long since past on to the Great Dispensery in the Sky but Baroness Airhead thought because Grandpa knew all about snake -oil cures Mumsie would too, Mumsie knew diddly squit, but she could put on a good act and look intelligent. So we all had a good larf out of Mumsie's imagined cures. Especially the one for darling little Nella's (the Baroness's brat of a daughter ) delicate digestive system (constipation). After the cure Mumsie concocted Leesha reckoned Nella wouldn't leave the guarde -robe for a month! I laughed myself sick! To return to the fateful Cheese and Wine Party. None of us girls were considered old enough to attend. Nella, the Hardupski's only brat - was only 11 1/2, I considered myself the height of elegance and sophistication, but was only 13 and Leesha a year younger. However, I managed to wheedle the story later from Morgana, Grandpa's old girlfriend.

Surviving is hard but living is harder, Especially when you're like Nora Woods- a completely normal teen on the outside but an old man with ten brain tumours on the inside- at least that's how she says it herself.

Anxiously you wait,, checking for bruises and pain, your stomach lurches when you realise you could be in danger... 365?? What could it mean, and HOW did it get there?
