They named the first daughter Zelda, hoping the Goddess Hylia would answer their prayers and keep the tradition of her unlocked the sacred power to seal Calamity Ganon. The second daughter, (Y/n), was hidden from the public eye at the request of the King. Zelda spent almost her whole life with government studies and prayer being stuffed into her face, her personal passions being frowned upon. (Y/n), on the other hand, had no duties to fulfill and instead studied alongside her sister, became a knight, and made a certain special friend. Despite having a place among those she's closest to, she still feels confused, as if something in her life quite hasn't clicked into place yet... ...that is, until her entire world crumbles whenever she realizes that her true purpose is that of which her sister had been promised her entire life. As Hyrule stands on the edge of change, Zelda is determined to understand her kingdom beyond the castle walls. Joined by her appointed knight, Link, she travels across fields, villages, and ancient ruins-searching for answers, a purpose, and a power that refuses to awaken. What begins as obligation slowly turns into something deeper. Between long roads, quiet campfires, and shared silences, walls begin to fall. Zelda starts to see the guy behind the sword, and Link finds himself drawn to the princess behind the crown. But with the weight of prophecy looming and untold dangers stirring beneath the land, time is not on their side. As Hyrule prepares for a future it may not survive, two hearts begin to change in ways neither of them expected.

Everyone knows about the heir to the Hyrulean throne Princess Zelda, but no one talks about the other. Princess Kalia is the eldest, meaning she should be the heir. The only issue is, she's adopted. And after the untimely death of the Queen, King Rhoam has completely shut out his eldest daughter. Despite the neglect, Kalia continues to train hard and is allowed to become a champion due to her abilities. In a story of loss, hardship, and love, we learn about the life of the Princess erased from history. Disclaimer: I try to keep things PG but there is still some violence early on and clean romance in the story, so please be advised.

[COMPLETED] She wakes up in a strange land, with strange powers. Will she be able to find her righfull place in the game of the Goddess and fulfull her destiny? Or will she fall prey to the darkness? This is literally a dream I had! I woke up and thought FUCK I HAVE TO WRITE THIS DOWN BEFORE I FORGET. But I'm not good at writing and my grammar is terrible, sorry ;-; Landon(An OC) is accidentally chosen as hero of Hyrule instead of Link at the great Deku Tree. And at his Anointing Ceremony Ganondorf comes to crash the party. Link saves Zelda, they bond and adventure together. Ganondorf remembers everything from his past reincarnations but because of this every time he goes through the cycle of reincarnation he is slowly becoming more and more beaslike. He can't remember why he wants take over Hyrule anymore. It's like if TP, BoTW, (a dash of Skyward Sword) and Hyrule Warriors had a baby! *I also don't own the pic of the cover* (Just wanted to throw that out there)

"...Princess Zelda stood tall on her royal pedestal, Link laying low in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The princess was surprisingly sharp, never taking her eyes off the crowd, even turning to take the occasional glance at the assassin's hiding spot. Link stretched his bow, readying the tiny spear inked with poison. ------ Link, a professional assassin who has been assigned the task of killing princess Zelda at her weakest, the death of her father. With Hyrule already falling into turmoil, the princess' recent loss has now left Zelda to take the blame of the imminent collapse of her kingdom. Having no one else to shoulder the weight of her substantial responsibilities, princess Zelda must find a way to restore her lands to the prosperity that once was before her father held reign. Dying seemed to be an unattainable luxury she could not afford. The prospect, however, seemed to be the sweet release she longed for.

It is said that long ago the three goddesses created Hyrule, leading and guiding the people. Beside them stood hundreds of powerful beings; deity's and the spirits. But these beings faded into legend over the centuries. These beings of legend were the last people Zelda Harkin ever expected to contact her, especially to tell her that she's one of them. Being pulled from her comfortable home, Zelda is thrust into a new a terrifying world; a world we're many of the occupants find her untrustworthy for reasons she doesn't known. Her gift of prophecy is clouded by death and destruction, and no one is willing to listen to her warnings. Hyrule is a ticking time bomb and Zelda is determined to save her real home. Imploring the help of a young and reluctant deity, gifted with the spirit of a wolf, she sets off on an adventure to save their homes before they're engulfed in the grip of Demise. *Hiatus* *Isn't a specific Zelink, just pick you favorite and bingo X)* I really am not the best at descriptions, so hopefully it gets the idea acrossXD, and sadly for the disclaimers I do not own the Legend of Zelda and all of their characters belong to Nintendo. It seems that all hope is lost. Zelda can't hold on forever by herself... But what if she didn't have to... Ten decades later, Link and Cora wake up, made alive again by the Shrine's power. Though unharmed, their memories have been wiped. They have no recollection of their lives before the awakening. Can Link and Cora free Zelda from Ganon's terrible grasp, or will they fail for good? Hello there! I've been a fan of the Legend of Zelda series for years, and I also enjoy writing. So, why not combine the two? This is a story of what I imagine would have happened 100 years before the events of Breath of the Wild. I've decided to remain true to the story as well as I could, but I've added quite a lot too. "My dear knight you shall watch over your successor and protect him until his time comes. T-thank you, Link, my brave hero." Oo•oO Link groaned and stretched, raising his arms above his head. "Wait...arms?" he thought as he glanced down at himself noticing the red plumage had disappeared. He laughed thinking that he must be dreaming and shook his head. The man scanned his surroundings unnerved to find it unrecognizable. These trees didn't look like the ones in Faron woods. They were closer together and darker in color. When he turned his gaze to the ground on his right, he was surprised to find his kid laying there. The child he watched grow into the hero he was supposed to be.

Twilight could get used to this kind of quiet. Nothing but the gentle rustle of trees in the wind, critters skittering in the underbrush, the rocky nature of the trail crunching under their feet with not a monster in sight. Granted, Rusl warned him about a camp just outside the tree-line, but the group already decided that was a tomorrow problem. For now, all they had to do was find somewhere nice to rest. ...Since apparently the inn wasn't an option. (Twilight finds out that Wild's never sang around a fire and decides that cannot stand.)

Lune is Zelda's childhood friend from birth. As a swordswoman and an accomplished archer, and with her inexplicable ability to read minds, she has always been the equivalent of royalty. However, she longed not for power but strength, and began training as a warrior in secret at a young age, at which point, she befriended link, his silence meaning nothing to the young telepath. When another divine beast, a dragon, is unearthed behind Hateno Village, Lune is the obvious choice to pilot Vah Hateo. However, when the calamity strikes, Lune's fate becomes shrouded in malice and it seems only Link can save her, but does she want to be saved?

Link and Zelda have defeated Calamity Ganon and a fragile peace has been restored to Hyrule. However, much work needs to be done before they can achieve Zelda's vision of a perfect Hyrule, and old enemies are still hunting them, thirsty for vengeance. And new threats are appearing in Hyrule. Maybe stronger than even the Chosen Hero.... This is my first story on Wattpad.

Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < .
