Desperate to be who she is, Hyun-ju decides to take on this last resort to be free, ending up in the Squid Game, where she will have to fight for her life. If that isn't hard enough already, she meets a familiar face during the games. A face she has tried to forget. Will there be an end to her struggles, or will her struggles be the end of her?

Cho Hyun-ju and Kim Jun-hee fall in love while in the games. They keep it a secret for Hyun-ju's safety from Jun-hees ex, Myung-gi. Ever since he and Jun-hee broke up and he got in debt, he had gotten a little crazy, and the games combined with thanos' drugs aren't exactly helping.. quite the opposite, actually. He won't hesitate to kill someone if they bother him or Jun-hee. Although one day - someone finds out, and tells Myung-gi.
