When rumours started floating about Idolish7 centre, Riku finds himself being looked at with disdain by everyone around him including his friends and family. When a certain incident with his big brother's little sister was brought to the surface that signalled the official end of his career. Now Nanase Riku was no longer the beloved Idol but was instead one of the most hated person in Japan. When the truth was finally revealed and the people who threw him away wanted to mend back broken bridges, nobody was able to find a trace of him. The idols, fans, everyone were desperate, they used all their resources to find him but to no avail, but when they finally had managed to catch a small glimpse of his whereabouts the Idols rushed to find him. Would they be able to make it up to him? Would they be able to repair Riku's broken heart that they had trampled and shattered with their words and betrayal?

An alternative ending to Shattered Idol. What would have happened if Zero hadn't stepped in time to save Riku? What actions would Riku have taken to mend a heart broken and trampled by the ones he once loved? To fully understand this fic, you will need to have read up to Chapter 10 of the original series otherwise this will not make any sense!

The place also seemed to be devoid of life...except for them. Now stranded in this strange new world, the idols soon encounter Digital Monsters and discover that they're not alone. Other humans who have also ended up in this bizarre, digital realm are also trying to figure out what happened and how to return home. Together, they must navigate this unfamiliar world, facing off against villains and uncovering the mysteries of the digital landscape, fighting for survival and a way back home.
