Jessica couldn't really believe that she had somehow become tangled in this mess, but there was nothing to it anymore. Sherwin, red haired and freckled, could've sworn everytime his crush, Jonathan, got near him, his legs turned to jelly. Jonathan felt the same. However, Sherwin's heart was where it shouldn't be, and people are a lot less accepting that the two boys hoped.

An "In a Heartbeat" fanfic?! In your 2023?! Yes. In this story, Sherwin is a sassy boy with a little more confidence while Jonathan is a little bit of an oddball. I love these two cuties so much. No one talks about them. Come on Beth and Esteban! Make the movie!!!

Co-authored with a-thesis-film-detroyed-me. An In a Heartbeat fanfiction. Faith is touchy. It's debated, refuted, supported and lived by. But to Sherwin, it took on a different meaning. To Sherwin, Faith means learning to control yourself. Faith means wishing that things were better than your pastor father maintaining an iron fist over your life while inside, you're combating a feeling that you've been taught all your life is wrong. Faith is hoping that the handsome city slicker that blows into town ends up as just a friend for your own good. Faith is something that Sherwin was taught would give him peace. But, will he find his salvation when he most needs it?
