As Phoebe Waller-Bridge would say, "This is a love story". Continuing the story of Duskwood right after the final chapter. MC finally arrives in Duskwood and the series of unfortunate events that follows.

Nothing is as it seems.Friends are enemies.No one can be trusted.Danger is lurking And the forest is full of lies.Who can be trusted? How can they find Hannah Donfort and keep her friends safe?

Hannah is found. However his relief is short-lived as he realises that his pursuers have now caught wind of the people he has gotten involved with. He knows they won't inflict any harm upon them as they do not know much about him but he knows they are getting closer. His past haunts him as he dreams for a life he knows he cannot afford to be in. He must prove his innocence. Longing conjures into determination and he ensures that the person he holds dear is safe: MC L/N. The game of cat and mouse continues. One thing is certain: Jake Donfort can never get close to the light, otherwise his shadow would become visible...

This story is based on the game Duskwood created by Everbyte Studio. Its the retelling of the events of the game starting from episode 1 but with more fleshed out MC here called Jules. I have tried my best to keep the MC more relatable to everyone so as to not exclude anyone. Hope you still like the story even though MC is more fleshed out. It's my way of thanking the Everbyte team and to connect with the community and give people the feel of playing the game without solving those pesky minigames(jk I understand their importance and I would play them again to flirt with Jake).I am going on this revisit to ease the pain while I wait for the tenth and final episode. For people who have never played I have written it in a way where you will still understand it but I would still recommend playing the game. I hope you all like it!

This is a fanfiction about the 'Duskwood' game by Everbyte. The story begins after the end of the last episode when Hannah was found and the connection with Jake was lost. If you have never played the game there will be spoilers , so you'll know what the game is about. If you have played the game , then you know about the hacker guy, Jake. I don't own the characters except from MC and how the story goes on after the last episode. PS: I do not own the pictures.

They both said I love you as a series of events led to a fire, an explosion, and a potential identity detection. Jake escaped from the mine, but he is left without his equipment, his backpack, or a way to contact Marlowe. Determined to find his love, he trevails a long journey to recovery both physically and mentally. He has to find his way to her and out of the path of his pursuers. She, on the other hand, refuses to believe that he is dead as she uses her credentials to track him down. lead him to safety and help him earn his freedom.

Ignoring the pain on her shoulder, she kept a firm grip of the pistol. Pointing it at the two man, she kept a safe distance from them. Face contorted in pain as sweat rolls down from the scalp of her head. She feels hot and cold at the same time. Left alone without Lilly or Cleo, she was left to ponder her current circumstance. She wasn't ignorant, she knew she had to make the important choice soon... Note : Writing and drawing will take a lot of time. It's a slow process but I'm enjoying it. Hope you will too :D ! MC has been in a slump lately, life has been dull and she's got nothing to fill it but bad memories and burned bridges. Everything is normal until she receives an invite to a group chat filled with people she doesn't know and ends up being dragged into an adventure she isn't sure she signed up for. Her internal dialogue is getting more snarky by the day and her issues have issues, but hey, finding a missing girl from a small town in the middle of nowhere should satisfy her avoidance of her own issues well enough.
