Mickey and Ian meet years after breaking up in season 5. Mickey didn't go to prison in season five they only broke up. This story is based around the time of season 9. So Mickey and Ian have been broken up roughly 4 years. Now Mickey has a daughter, Carmen who is one year old at the start of this story. Carmen is what was missing in their lives all along. Carmens mother is not a character in this story but she is very briefly mentioned. Lip picks up on a summer job to help tutor a girl named Phoenix Richardson. The softball player finds herself developing feelings, not for her tutor...for her tutors brother, Ian. With the mix of a harsh home life, busy schedule, summer full of firsts and confusing feelings, she finds herself having the most fun but being in the deepest of shit. This story is not completely cannon and vaguely follows the story line, sensitive word choice will be in the story as well as the story. Enjoy :)

This is a season 9 of shameless fanfiction which will mostly be about Ian Gallagher and Mickey Milkovich. At the end of season 7 when we last saw Mickey, he was escaping to Mexico because he was on the run from the cops. When we last saw Ian in season 8, he was getting dragged into a police car and got arrested because he was being 'Gay Jesus' and breaking the law. This will take place a year after season 8 so two years after season 7, we will see mickey and ian reunite and also some bumps in the road for them both, for many different reasons. We will see all the gallagher family and even Mandy Milkovitch,Mickey's sister who is also Ian's bestfriend.
