In order to bait Captain Jack Harkness and capture him, a new revival of Torchwood resurrect Ianto Jones, recreating his body and drawing his spirit out of the ether. He survives in captivity, barely, until Jack appeares in his cell one night to rescue him.

DCI Ianto Jones has always been assigned to desk work. But after a grisly murder takes place and then another, Jones is assigned to his first real case. Jones and his new partner take on the case, determined to find the killer. But as the bodies pile up, things get complicated. There's a man in a coat following him who is determined to make him drop the case. Placed during World War II, Ianto struggles with romance, his career, and national security. - The case used in this story is based on true events. I tried to be as historically accurate as possible but some accuracies, specifically life in Britain during WW2, had to be dropped to maintain certain plot points. However, this story is fairly accurate. References to the websites I used will be listed at the end of the book.

(Sequel to Black Eyes, read that first) It's been nearly two thousand years since Charlie died, but now she has awoken. At first everything seems normal, safe, Ianto and Jack welcome her back with open arms and tears. But with the loss of her memory and powers, how will she live? Gemma Fawn, born 1989, her father died in 1994, her mother hired by Torchwood the next day. On New Years Eve her mother was murdered by another Torchwood member. After that she fell into the hands of Captain Jack Harkness who adopted her. Now it is 2006 and everything changes. This story has a slight crossover to the British Comedy Outnumbered.

This fic was created after I posted on tumblr asking for people to give me a single word, which I would then write a fic around. One of the words I received was "battery". Thus, this fic was born. Ianto finds a vibrator in Jack's drawer. Shenanigans ensue.
