Eiji just happens to live in his old apartment, learns some things about Ash and gets curious. When he studies in the Public Library, he encounters Ash's ghost who insists he isn't dead (yet)... So Eiji starts investigating and gets pulled into a world of danger... Since he's Eiji, he gets mixed up in danger. Of course, he meets Shorter and Sing as well who usually save him. It's another slow burn between Eiji and Ash with an angsty beginning and an eventual happy ending;-)
