This is the story that truly matters in a person's life; it is the story of how I fell in love. There are many stories of love, and so there should be, many people are in love. Love is a word everyone uses to label the emotional rollercoaster that everyone encounters when finding their one. It really is interesting that we all use the same word, when in fact no-one's love is ever the same. To be honest it is still a very foreign thing to me, perhaps I was a little cynical and thought it didn't really exist. In the back of my mind I always wondered if it was about finding the person who you are most comfortable with and perhaps settling down with them. We never want to be the last person playing musical chairs, and maybe that is what we like to call love. In my young mind, I wasn't sure it existed because I had no proof. Just wild theories and perhaps a bit of disbelief. My parents were in love, I guess, they were not overly affectionate and for that I was perhaps a little grateful. Yet I knew they cared for each other. How are you meant to believe in it when you can't see it? Forget long distance, to believe in it when you can't see it, that is the true test of love.
