Katherine Harper is a 17-year-old figure skater whose parents are Olympians. Katherine gave up skating for two years because she didn't want to follow in her parents' footsteps or live up to her mother's expectations, but she realizes she misses it and decides to start over with the most troublesome boy on the rink.
