TicklelovesTuesdays
Hawkins has a way of bringing out the worst in people.
Steve Harrington is trying to leave his old reputation behind, juggling dead-end shifts at Scoops Ahoy, looking after a group of kids who somehow keep finding trouble, and pretending everything he's survived hasn't changed him. Billy Hargrove is still all sharp edges and bad decisions, hiding bruises that no one asks about and anger that never seems to run out.
They've never been anything but rivals. They used to be trading insults in school hallways, throwing punches in parking lots, and refusing to back down whenever their paths cross.
But after the events that shake Hawkins yet again, avoiding each other becomes impossible. Forced into the same orbit by circumstance, Steve begins to notice the cracks beneath Billy's carefully crafted tough boy image. Billy, despite every instinct telling him to keep his distance, finds himself relying on the one person he used to fight all the time.
Neither of them is looking for redemption. Neither of them is looking for love. Well, they were good with the ladies, but they were NOT looking at each other.. Or were they?
In a town where monsters don't always come from another dimension, they'll have to decide whether some people are worth fighting... or whether it's already too late.
