This story is about two royal icewing sisters, daughters of the icewing queen, Queen Glacier. They are very different from eachother and well, different from the tribe. Iceblade is fierce,confident yet funny. Iceheart on the other talon, is kind, gentle, but she has a soul as strong as steel. Both sisters know a dark, disturbing secret that the icewings have hid for ages.When the girls find out about this, bad things start to happen to them and to their loved ones. Iceheart has a choice to make, that may shape the future for her tribe. Should she expose her mother, and keep her friends safe from danger, but shove the icewings hard work and reputation into the snow? Or should she keep her mouth shut, and risk it all ending in a massacre? ( wings of fire and some of the characters in this book belong to the amazing Tui T. Sutherland )

Icepaw is like any other apprentice: eager to learn and defend her Clan, StormClan. One night however, after a particularly gruesome first battle that leaves her mother dead, Icepaw is visited by a mysterious cat in a dark forest, named Snakeheart. Icepaw secretly starts visiting this mysterious cat more, and slowly gains her trust. But soon, things start to become chaotic and dark for Icepaw as she continues training, in the waking world and her dreams. As she grows and earns her warrior name, Iceheart, StormClan - and possibly all the Clans - are thrown onto a dark path, starting out with a mysterious prophecy. When cats start to get killed, Icepaw suddenly finds herself at the center of the evidence, and driven out of her beloved Clan. That is when she starts thinking: Is Snakeheart who Iceheart thinks she is? Or is there more going on beyond her knowledge? And will Iceheart be able to stop her and confront the darkness on the horizon before it unleashes its fury on the Clans?
