This is a story how a teen struggles to live life to the fullest. Emil's had a hard past, but it becomes easier when he's not alone. The story takes place when he is only four years old, being to naive to understand what's going on. All of the parts that say, (number) years ago, are pretty much the intro. I just wanted to space everything out~ Each part will be really short in the beginning, but they will get longer later on. Underneath the streets of Reykjavik, scientists have been conducting secret government-funded experiments for the last 28 years. No-one was supposed to find out, but when one man was tortured into releasing information about the trials, people all over the world started finding out about Skapa. Now it's 2043, and everybody knows about the humans being created in the Vona labs. Protests were held to have Skapa released, but after the Icelandic military shut them down they resorted to a violent uprising. Vona was broken into, scientists captured and Skapa set free. What they did not realise is that there was a reason why Skapa could not be released; they were not ready. "Out there, somewhere, are two-hundred-and-three living, breathing Skapa - all of them with feelings and thoughts and hopes and dreams; all of them potentially dangerous. They must all be found and destroyed."

Beyond the cloud of grief, Mike learns just how much he hadn't known. But one thing was for sure, he'd find the three waterfalls, and maybe, just maybe, allow himself to move on.
