My paw pads were ripping as the ground had a thundering path of paws wolves beyond wolves carried the ear splitting sound of them. I was in front. No... not leading but running. Running away. My paws ached my tongue flapped out to the side as I ran my pace become short and slow and my breaths uneven. I need out of here now! My lungs screamed for my to stop but my mind overpowered my legs and I kept on running. My heart pounded harder than before and I felt as in I could collapse on the hard cool ground. But the thundering paws and growls behind me kept me going. I closed my eyes and opened them seeming as if a power was sent through my veins to keep me going. My breath became steady, but I knew I need a place to hide right now... I saw it my escape.
