Idk I just felt like starting a story right now

Leon has sworn full allegiance to the Idem military. They fight in a war that has lasted for centuries. Leon was raised learning to aim straight between the eyes. "We are Idem. We are the same. We are human. No differences divide us." He had been chanting all his life. When he finally goes to a real battle, and not a simulator, he realizes how wrong the humans are. Were they fighting against the good the whole time? Why were they fighting against the peaceful people of Alium?
