What to expect: 1. There are no cheat codes. The mcs are both talented individuals, yet they aren't the chosen ones. They don't belong to any prophecy or grand plot, and have to claw their way into relevance. 2. It's a psychological work at its core, and a coming of age story at that. The mcs evolve drastically, but naturally, and they will at times frustrate the audience. This is by design. 3. The cultivation system is very detailed and thought out, everything is explained gradually as to not overwhelm the reader. 4. This book is very edgy at times. I don't do things just to shock people, and I believe that every edgy piece of content I write has a reason behind it, but you have been warned. 5. I am an ESL author. 6. The narration style switching between first and third form is intentional, same for not using italics. It's not a quirk or a whim, but an experimental choice that will become very relevant in future chapters.
