Historias de Idril

Short storys set in Gondolin. Characters include Turgon, Idril, Ëarendil, Ecthelion and Glorfindel. Some humour and light-hearted scenes although the beginning is a bit dark.

This is a retelling of the story of Tuor and the fall of the legendary Elven city of Gondolin. It is based on the original 1918 version by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, but updated as much as possible thanks to additional material from both Unfinished Tales (the later Tuor) and The History of Middle-earth series. I must also admit to interpolating my own narrative additions, where definitive source material was lacking, in an effort to round out the story and make it more entertaining for modern audiences. Finally, it is a self-contained story. That is, you don't have to know anything about the world of Middle-earth in order to read and enjoy it. No infringement intended or implied. Long unavailable on the Internet, but now available once again. Written by a Tolkien fan for the enjoyment of fellow Tolkien fans worldwide.

Tuor, fils de Huor est un homme mortel. Idril, fille de Turgon, est une elfe de Gondolin. Amour, jalousie, trahison, complot, peut-être connaissez-vous déjà leur histoire, mais je vais ici vous la raconter à ma façon. J'espère qu'elle vous plaira, Bonne lecture 😊 N.b : Je tiens à préciser, pour ceux qui ne l'auraient pas compris, que cette histoire est relatée dans le Silmarillion de Tolkien, et que donc ni l'histoire, ni les personnages de sont de mon invention. Je me contente seulement d'en faire le récit en y ajoutant ma touche personnelle...

***UNDER EDITTING*** As a ranger of Gondor, Talion was slaughtered on the Black Gate with everyone he ever loved. However, Talion did not find peace in death. He was cursed, and resurrected, by a powerful wraith Celebrimbor, who reforged him into an undying spirit of vengeance. With their powers combined they dominated Mordor and forged a new ring to break Sauron himself. This, however did not come to be. Talion was betrayed by Celebrimbor and Eltariel, refusing to die and instead choosing to become one of the nine, preventing a horrible power from rising with his sacrifice. After being tortured by the ninth ring, he is finally offered peace of death and given back his feelings that he sacrificed to the shadow wars, including guild. So how was he ever supposed to resist a call for help, even if an unusual one?
