Stories that came up in my crazy mind but couldn't work out a full length story, so here we are. Adding tags as I go. When no character is stated in the title, most of them are in it.

A man who saved his beloved realm from its fate woke up in another world. Clive Rosfield was found in a new world he had never known, the Academy City in Tokyo, Japan, the modern world unlike in the Realm of Valisthea, and reverted him to 15 years old. Clive will find new friends, including familiar ones, and his enemies and discover a strange new realm of supernatural power. But they didn't know the people of Academy City will witness a powerful but terrifying and devastating beast hadn't seen before that is unrelated to the espers...the Eikons. Disclaimer: I don't own any of these animes and the Final Fantasy XVI, credits belongs to the respective owners.

What I'm doing with this story is taking the Eikons from FF XVI and put into a more modern era (FFVII/FFXV) Since the era of might and magic, one constant has persisted: Change. Whether from a child to an adult or a horse-drawn carriage to cars, no more significant change has hit Valisthea than the loss of the Eikons. Now, mere fairy tales to tell around the campfire. What if you were to learn that their power wasn't gone, just transferred? Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed, and when the vessel of the nine gods faded away, one can only speculate did the accumulative power disappear into the aether or were just weakened and found new hosts. Hosts who would go on and pass the power on waiting for the time they were needed.

Winning first place in Sir Rob's Storm and Silence fanfiction contest, here is my entry for all of you to enjoy. ~ 0 ~ Five possibilities in one.
